Additional Services

We can provide pickup and drop offs for student's in our coverage area as well as providing transportation to the secretary of state. We also have trained professionals who have expertise in teaching students with reading or writing challenges so they can take the test orally. We have English and Spanish speaking instructors on staff for multi-language instruction.

FAQ

To be able to get a license you need to have already passed the Written Exam, received your Instruction Permit and have a valid State ID. If you don’t have a valid State ID, the following documentation will be required: Social Security Card (the original card), Passport, Visa or any other form of identification (school ID, work ID, birth certificate, etc.), and Proof of address.

YES, regardless of age it is a requirement by the Secretary of State for a person to have passed the Written Exam and obtained their Instruction Permit before taking driving lessons.

Although we do not guarantee that our students will pass the State Road Test, we do our best to prepare you for first time success. In fact, over 90% of our students pass the test the first time.

No, we only offer 2-hour sessions. The only time a 1-hour lesson is allowed is when a student combines a 1-hour lesson with our Road Test service.
Yes, by appointment. They start at $75 per one hour lesson.
Cash, check, and money order payments are accepted by Safe Drive. Additionally, credit card payments can be made over the phone at any time.
Office hours are Monday – Friday from 9am to 6pm. Saturdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm. For driving lessons, we are available 7 days a week from 6am – 6pm.
Unfortunately, for the moment the only licenses we provide training for are Class D and Class C non-CDL.

No experience is necessary to become a driving instructor as we provide all required training.

Driving School
Senior Trainer

Safe Drive has a vacancy for a Driver Trainer to play an active part in the development, planning and delivery of driver training, including LGV, EFADS and Specialist Service Vehicles training. You may be required to work from any office within the area.
