So you're ready to get started with Safe Drive, congratulations! Did you know that you are required by law to take a driver's education course before you can get your license? (If you didn't, now you do!) Now, you do have a few different options when it comes to deciding which course you should take, so let's go over them and see what fits you best.
First up is our Full Driver's Education Program. This is our general recommendation for everyone, because it gives you the most comprehensive education available. This course will cover everything you need to become a safe and confident driver. Not only does this package include 30 hours of classroom time (don't worry - they're broken down into easy-to-digest 2 hour blocks), but it also comes with 8 hours of private driving lessons. In addition, most insurance carriers offer a discount to students who complete this course. Students usually find that with this discount, the course pays for itself in less than a year!
Next comes our 8 Hour Safe Driving Course. This is the fastest way to complete your driver's ed requirement. It's a basic overview of safe driving skills, and does include the required Parent Class. However, it DOES NOT include private driving lessons. To get a license, you must log 40 hours of driving experience, so with this option you'll either have to complete that on your own with a Qualified Trainer, or book a lesson with a driving school, like us!
Conclusion
Finally, you can choose either of the above options and add Private Driving Lessons as you see fit. Want to take the 8 Hour Safe Driving Course but also need some practice with an instructor? No problem, you can add a Private Driving Lesson at any time. Already finished your Safe Drive's Education Program and included driving lessons but still want more practice? Great! You can add as many driving lessons as you need. We'll do whatever we can to make sure you're prepared to get your license and get on the road safely.

Thanks for an interesting article! Your driving school is one of the most known in our region, and I’m glad that my son learns to drive at Safe Drive.
Completely agree with you! Their new driving courses are especially useful for adult beginners in driving. That’s exactly what I need now.
I would like to add something. Safe Drive’s instructors also write interesting articles about driving issues that happen on the road.
